When Shawntay extended an invitation in 2017 for Jeanetta to join the Samone Colors team, it marked the next chapter in a distinguished career. She brings decades of mastery to a creative space where artistry, collaboration, and excellence are the standard.

A licensed cosmetologist in Maryland and Washington, D.C., Rickya Dodson brings over 19 years of professional experience as an award-winning hairstylist and certified makeup artist. Her relationship with Samone Colors founder Shawntay Fisher dates back to 2009 and continues to present day.
Rickya’s versatility spans an impressive range of work, including celebrity clientele, television, film, music videos, documentaries, and editorial content. She has worked as a platform artist, contributed to New York Fashion Week, and supported political campaigns. Her expertise also extends to special effects, bridal beauty, and mortuary makeup, a rare and specialized skill that speaks to her precision and adaptability across every setting.

Known for her ability to observe, listen, and anticipate client needs, Kellie brings the same level of polish and professionalism to every chair, whether on set or in studio.

With nearly three decades in the beauty industry, Ruben Makle brings artistry and warmth to every production set he steps on. For the past five years, he has been a trusted artist with Samone Colors, working on high profile assignments including presidential elections and inaugurations, courtroom style web shows, National Press Club satellite media tours, NY Times digital news broadcasting, and commercial projects across the DMV region. Outside of Sa’Mone Colors, his career includes collaborations with Estée Lauder, MAC Cosmetics, and Clinique, along with television productions and professional headshots. What truly sets Ruben apart is his gift for connection. He has an effortless way of putting clients at ease, often with a well timed joke that turns a nervous moment into a shared laugh, leaving every client looking polished and feeling completely at home in the chair.

As an Account Executive for Anastasia Beverly Hills, Irving has further sharpened his expertise in product knowledge and artistry education, having also served as an instructor at CUNY Kingsborough Community College and Chic Studios NY.
